The Little Prince
"This quote describes Margaret Redmond, mother of three and grandmother of eight,
one of the original spouse-members of the Schulman Group and my wise guide and inspiration.
Years ago when the Schulman group began, Bud encouraged the members to invite their
spouses. Knowing Bud’s loving and dedicated wife, Jodi, she most likely led
him to this vital consideration. Bud realized and fostered the rare and valuable
contribution of the spouses’ intellectual and emotional intelligence.
Margaret believes, and I agree, that one of the main reasons for the Schulman Study
Group’s wondrous success was Bud’s original action to include spouses
in the annual meeting. Spouse attendance at the annual meeting, originally required,
is now strongly recommended. Margaret Redmond’s deep caring and respect for
Bud & Jodi Schulman’s mission to create a group of orthodontists who share
abundantly is why I am able to serve as Bud Schulman’s successor. Margaret
innately knew what would be involved in continuing the Schulman’s great legacy.
Her vision, empathy, and understanding inspire me and have positively affected our
Schulman Group and the orthodontic profession. On behalf of myself and the entire
Schulman Group, we thank Margaret for her wisdom and profound understanding of the
Schulman’s legacy which continues to inspire all of us."
